The First Infiltration A Search for Jaz Jacob Pitman learns that Silver Sky Research may be holding his sister, Jaz Pitman, after she disappears from her job. He follows a lead to a hidden facility and plans a timed entry, believing he can reach the cells before security responds. Finding Abigail Inside the basement, Jacob does not find Jaz. Instead he discovers Abigail McKinney, a captive behaving with frantic, unfamiliar intensity, and cannot leave her behind when she needs help. An Improvised Escape Jacob gets Abigail out and takes her to a motel. Their attraction overwhelms the immediate aftermath of the rescue, but his sister remains missing, leaving the escape incomplete and drawing Jacob back toward the facility.

A Rescue Becomes a Capture A Sister Still Missing Once Abigail is safe, Jacob returns to watch the research facility and search for Jaz. Exhaustion and urgency make him careless about the security card he carries, which contains a tracking device. The Trap Closes Silver Sky’s people locate Jacob. A dart strikes him as he runs through the woods, and he wakes in a cell much like the one from which he rescued Abigail. A Coerced Bargain The facility’s representative offers to release Jaz if Jacob cooperates with an experimental drug injection. Jacob accepts because he believes his sister’s safety matters more than his own, submitting to the procedure and its unknown consequences.

A Pack-Led Extraction

A Pack-Led Extraction A Lead from Jaz After Jaz escapes and reaches the pack, she tells them that Jacob is still being held. Max organizes an operation using information from her and Abigail, while Abigail waits anxiously for news. Nighttime Entry Andy Olson and Wren Longwood enter the facility and reach Jacob’s cell. They tell him that Jaz sent them and hurry him out before the building is destroyed in the pack’s planned operation. A New Place to Stand Jacob is reunited with Abigail and learns that the experiments have changed them into werewolves. He chooses to remain with her and accept the pack’s help, turning a rescue from confinement into the beginning of a new home.
